Frustrating day--Echo cardiogram- also abnormal- wearing a monitor for 24 hours--and have another test at 6:30 am on Friday- still not sure that this is going to happen

Hmmmm
A fly in the ointment- Pre surgery EKG noticed irregular heartbeat. Tomorrow will be spent with cardiologist and a series of tests. The last thing that I want to do now is postpone!!!!!!!!!

One week left-thank goodness!
This past week-end spent walking the streets of Manhattan probably wasn't helpful--but it sure was fun. There were some really good time and some pretty bad times- Fortunately my companions were compassionate and help me out, slowed down or found us a place to have a cup of coffee.
Pain pretty much all the time now-Sleep is difficult because no position is comfortable and medication is off limits. The pain is interesting-it changes, from directly in the joint with knife-like stabbing pain to a nerve radition kind of pain that sometimes goes all the way to my toes.
Personal physician appointment tonight to get the final ok
